Knackered – No meat mix up here

In the current meat mix-up controversy it’s best to ensure you know what your eating

Go gently into the night dear horse
You’ve been much more to me of course
More than pal and more than chum
When there was need you’d always come.
I still recall your soft brown swell
Your chestnut hair and stable smell
The rise and fall upon your back
When riding hard at morning’s crack
Endless hours hot tears I’ve cried
For taking Caesar deep inside
The warmth I lost between my thighs
Is now the stuff of frozen pies
a comfort when i’m missing Caesar
To know he’s only in the freezer
Although dear friend you’re now for feeding
At least I know that’s what I’m eating
And though I now am rather weighty
I haven’t lost my precious matey
